Deadline for submissions: March 23 by midnight
Exhibit Dates: April 4, 2015 to April 24, 2015
Opening Reception: Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 6-8 p.m.
Intake Dates: March 29 and 30, 4-6pm at the gallery
Pick Up Date for unsold work: Saturday March 25, 4-6pm
Artists working primarily in the PA, MD, WV, and VA region are encouraged to apply. Consideration will be given to artists outside the region as well. Work should have been produced within the last four years.
All work must be original. Original work is thoughtful and highly creative. The Exhibition Curator reserves the right to refuse and work that varies substantially from the submitted photos or is of inferior workmanship.
All work must be "exhibition ready" meaning if it is a 2D work it must be ready to hang on the gallery wall with all necessary mounting hardware. Flat work must be matted and framed unless other arrangements have been made. 3D work must be ready to exhibit with any necessary mounting hardware included. Work that doesn't meet these criteria will not be shown.
Postmark deadline March 27, 2015
All shipped work must include a check or money order for return postage. Check should be made out to SHAPE Art Gallery. Check must also include Artist name.
Shipped work must be packed well in reusable boxes and packing materials. Please avoid using styrofoam peanuts.
Work shipped without return postage will be held until return shipping has been sent. Work left over 60 days will become property of SHAPE gallery.
SHAPE Gallery will receive a 30% commission for any work sold from the exhibition. Artists are encouraged to make their work for sale.
SHAPE reserves to right to photograph work for publicity and promotion purposes.
Registering for the exhibition constitutes an agreement to the conditions set forth herein.
